- The onus should be on fluids- compared to solids, liquid foods are less likely to cause problems. The main reason for it is that they move through the stomach in a quick manner. In this regard pudding and protein shakes would be good choices. Ideally, you should look for liquids that provide plenty of proteins. Do make it a point that you chew food in a slow manner until it is liquefied.
- Sleep smart- to combat the issues of nigh time heartburn you should not eat anything 3 to 4 hours before you go to bed. In the midst of all this make it a point that you do sleep on the left side as well. The stomach acids would need to travel up to reach the esophagus.
Do much of minerals would offset the balance as well? For example too much of calcium would go on to alter the absorption of iron. So consume both in appropriate proportions.
